Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer for sale this fantastic 19th century French walnut arm chair with matching walnut footstool. The footstool retains its original label showing it was made by the Colonial Furniture company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Colonial Furniture company was founded around 1910 but the chair predates the stool by about 30/40 years. The carving patterns have minute differences but they look fantastic together with the matching floral fabric. The chair & stool are tight as a rock & are a very comfortable set. The chair measures 24 1/2" wide x 20" deep x 37 1/2" tall with a seat height of 17".
