This is a beautiful little basket from Mexico. I love the big flowers on top, they are a wonderful subdued color on top of bright green yarn. This was handmade by someone who had made hundreds of baskets before this one. The lid fits perfectly. All of the woven pieces are still tight & perfect after all of this time has passed. This is a great size for a small sewing basket. - would hold a few spools of thread, a fabric measuring tape & small scissors.
