Paul Allier was born in Montpellier, Southern France in 1883. He was painter, book & fashion illustrator. Allier studied at the École des Beaux-Arts of Montpellier. Then he moved to Paris & studied with Paul Laurent. in Paris he has been exhibited at the Salon des Tuileries & at the Salon d’Automne in 1912. He was in the same artists group of Othon Friesz, Derain, Soutine. As illustrator he has collaborated with several Parisian magazines & newspapers such as L’Assiette au Beurre, Femina, Flirt & Vogue.
